Community Involvement

At RS Gilmore Insurance we believe it is important to support our local community. To us its all about giving back.

24 Hours of Golf:

logo (3)Mike founded his 24 Hours of Golf charity eight years ago. Knowing the immense impact golf and the generosity of the community had on his life, he decided to give back and make a difference in the lives of area youth. By golfing 24 consecutive hours, Mike raises money to teach children the game of golf, thereby teaching them respect, integrity, patience, and focus among countless other life lessons.

Hockomock YMCA:

YMCA (3)Mike grew up going to his local YMCA every day after school. The Y gave him a safe place to play, learn and be a giving part of the community. As an adult, Mike serves on the board of managers at the Hockomock YMCA and he and his family are active members. Mike recognizes the outstanding generosity of the Y and its ability to help people in need. He believes deeply in the work of the Y and does all he can to support it.

Downtown Associates of North Attleboro:

down town

This local organization promotes the downtown growth and viability of businesses located in downtown North Attleboro. The Gilmore Insurance Agency has been involved from the initial beginning of this association and continues to support it financially.

National Kidney Foundation:

Mike’s wife, Kellie, donated her kidney to her father in 2002 after he spent almost 3 years on debilitating dialysis. Mike and Kellie are ardent supporters of the National Kidney Foundation and participate in several of their fundraising efforts.

The Tomorrow Fund:

Today, more than 90% of children with cancer in Rhode Island, nearby Massachusetts, and Connecticut are treated in The Tomorrow Fund Clinic. Christmas is for Kids:

This program provides a happy Christmas to children who would otherwise go without a gift on Christmas Day. Tim and his family along with Gilmore Insurance have been involved with this charity for several years.

Lenore’s Pantry:
